The Alliance for Virtual Businesses™ (A4VB) is proud to announce our VA Scholarship Program Once a year, A4VB will award to a Professional or Premier level member a 50% scholarship to Virtual Business University. Awardees will participate in a 20-week training program and upon completion graduate with a Certificate of Completion. VBU facilitates the development of up-to-the-minute, relevant and compelling online virtual businesses and specifically virtual assistant practices. The A4VB scholarships will aid a virtual assistant in developing a unique practice reflecting the values, philosophy and boundaries of the VA entrepreneur. The first scholarship will be awarded for the September 2007 enrollment. Subsequently, applications will be accepted during the month prior to the beginning of the class. Education Workshop Series Elegibility: A4VB will also fund a seat at the quarterly workshops. Announcement regarding the workshops will be forwarded to everyone registered with A4VB, and participating VA organization list-serv leaders, for posting on various list servs and forums. Any A4VB registrant is eligible to win a workshop series seat. Participants will be selected from a random drawing prior to the date of the scheduled series. Awardee agrees to allow A4VB to use their name and photo for promotional purposes and on the A4VB website. Scholarship Eligibility: To qualify for the A4VB partial scholarship, the individual must be a Professional or Premier member, a practicing virtual assistant who has been in business for a minimum of 6 months and has a profile on the Alliance website. S/he must demonstrate the desire to increase her level of training and dedication to the growth of her practice. Scholarship applications will become available effective August 1, 2007. At that time, feel free to download and complete the A4VB Scholarship/Profile Application for consideration. Only one partial scholarship will be awarded per year.
