Diana Ennen and Kelly Poelker co-author a book Up Close and Virtual: The Practical Guide to Starting Your Own Virtual Assistant Business 2nd Edition, (published in 2003). They combine their own extensive knowledge and experience and provide valuable links and resources, as well as the expertise of dozens of other VAs who are operating successful businesses today, to assist you in starting and keeping your business successful. Diana has been in business since 1985 and Kelly since 2000. Kelly is a MVA, speaker at IAVOA conferences, hosts weekly chats, and also does the Mary Goulet radio show. Diana mentors VAs both online and off, manages several boards for VAs and has written other books on starting home-based businesses.
