Hi Nicole,

I'm not sure I understand your question. I am aware of VAs that subcontract their services to other VAs, and VAs who work with subcontractors. So yes, VAs fit both categories.

Linda gave some good advise regarding starting a relationship with VAs you admire, as many VAs now have team members (subcontracting relationships) with other VAs, and you can learn about the process, types of services most requested, etc.

Good luck.

Hi Nicole,

Over time, you will find that you will read about other VAs and get to know them online and offline. I recommend calling a few of the ones that you admire and introduce yourself to them. Then, make a list of those names and telephone numbers and a brief description of the services they offer. You will undoubtably get calls from customers you are not able to take on, due to your schedule and/or pricing, etc.. It is a service to recommend that customer to someone who may be able to take on the work and is an added service to refer others. The customers really appreciate your help in finding someone to help them if you are not able to take them on.

Has anyone subcontracted their VA services? If so, who did you use and how did it work out for you?
