This seminar will encourage new VAs to think through things carefully when starting up their practice; look at their current knowledge base and where they need to take it to; and change their mindset to one who thinks as a business owner/operator. It answers the following questions:

• What should they be working out for themselves?
  
• What could they reasonably expect to get help with?
  
• Where should they go for help and advice? and,
  
• What kind of things should they already know?
