About The Alliance for Virtual Businesses PDF Print E-mail

Alliance for Virtual Businesses

The Alliance for Virtual Businesses™ was established in June 2003. It is a collaboration of virtual professionals and virtual assistant organizations whose mission is to educate businesses and promote the virtual assistance industry, worldwide.

The Alliance is the product of a simple question posted on a virtual assistant list-serve... "How can I educate businesses about virtual assisting?”

Recognizing that this question represented a major obstacle for many VAs, industry representatives developed a plan to combat this problem. They compiled resources, articles, industry-demographics, conducted studies, networked with targeted associations and organizations, conducted interviews and developed media campaigns to promote the industry.

Visitors are invited to peruse the Web site, download material about the industry, Meet VAs by reading virtual professionals' profiles and visiting individual and Virtual Assistant industry member organization Web sites, and  experience the diversity of our profession.
